I thought it would be cool to share my process for both my images done for the Cataclysm Expansion.
Like every project I start with making thumbnails with pencil on paper:
I always send at least three sketches to the client, and that's a good thing for me - I always have a hard time choosing one ;) -.
If you can't choose; put your thumbnails in Photoshop or other program and do some quick value or color overlays. Spend no more then 10 minutes on each of them and quickly you will know which one will work or not.
Once the AD (Art-Director) choses one and gives feedback on the sketches:
I send a revision and finally I'm off to the final version
